About the Role
They are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Collections Officer to join this national credit team to ensure the timely collection of overdue accounts on behalf of a Government initiative.
You will work across three shift: 8:30 am-4:30 pm, 9:00 am-5:00 pm & 10:00-6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with the opportunity to WFH 1 day a week.
Responsibilities
- Answer customer enquiries, providing timely and accurate responses
- Managing a large customer ledger
- Undertake inbound and outbound calls in relation to the collection of overdue accounts and processing credit card payments
- Facilitate the resolution of customer complaints, managing disputes on invoices/claims
- Reconciliation of key accounts
- Assisting with month-end-related tasks
- Ensure compliance with best practice, standards and legislative requirements

Requirements
- Demonstrated Accounts Receivable or Collections experience
- Prior experience working in a high-volume environment
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency within MS office suite and ERP systems
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Valid Drivers licence and own transport
